“Overturn: Awakening of the Warrior” is a philosophical sci-fi action movie about waking up
from your eternal dream. Many philosophies, thinkers, and spiritual teachers say that when
people go to school or work, travel, meet each other and think that they live, in reality
they dream. Their mind creates an illusion of themselves, their life, etc. Usually, in order for
someone to wake up, something extraordinary has to happen. In our movie, we present a
story that has extraordinary events in it and shows us the process of awakening in
an extreme environment. Christopher Gabriel, the main character of the movie is
not a usual person and is meant to be someone very important to this planet, but because
his “normal” part of self tells him that he is just a “normal” guy from a “normal” American
town, he does not know who he really is. But, a strange thing, all the time he sees weird
and often scary dreams. They act like certain reminders, but he does not realize it until an
unexpected event happens. He is kidnapped by people who seem to know everything
about his dreams and himself. Although Christopher gets terrified by these people and their
behavior, deep inside he feels that something right happens. Eventually, they reveal him
the secret behind his dreams and help him open his eyes on himself. They do so, because
they know that he is the key to winning a certain invisible war that has started a long time
ago and involves all humanity without its awareness of it. This happens because the opposite
side creates special conditions on the planet in order for this collective dream to continue.
In the movie, this side is represented by the mysterious character of Servant, who seems to
control everything and everyone around him.

“Awakening of the Warrior” is the first film in a series. It only begins the story of Christopher
Gabriel and his journey to enlightenment, liberation from his mind, and accomplishing his
mission. It has an open end, which allows you to judge on your own. The mystery behind
Oveturn’s events will lead us to the next movies under the title of “Overturn.” As Maria, one
of the characters, says to Christopher that in order to change, he needs to undergo a physical,
mental, and spiritual training,” so action and martial arts scenes that we see in the film
manifest his battle for this inner change as well as our world. He begins his training in
order  to be able to use his abilities, but ends up finding his true self: his awakening.
